Benalmadena Town Council has announced the creation of huge rustic park in the Carvajal stream area. The 40,000 square metre park will cost €1.3 million euros, to be co-financed by the local council and the Junta de Andalucia. Only 15,000 square metres will be open to the public, and this area will be provided with paths, a children’s playground, a gym and a sports area. The rest will be a strictly ecological area, to be planted with exotic and native trees and bushes that are on the endangered list.
