The municipal councils of Marbella and Ojén ended a boundary war going back more than a hundred years when they signed an agreement for each of them to have half of 45.4 hectares of land in dispute. The agreement still has to be approved by a plenary session of each council but no upsets are anticipated. This means that several houses which were paralysed because of the dispute can now be completed, and Marbella’s plans to build and environmental centre in La Mina can go ahead.
