TOWNS TO GET EU FUNDING

New EU funding has been approved to help regenerate 11 cities and towns across Andalucia. A total of €157 million will be invested between now and 2013 to improve socio-economic development in the towns of Alcalá de Guadaíra, Almería, Cádiz, Córdoba, Jaén, Jerez de la Frontera, Linares, Malaga, Motril, Sevilla and Vélez-Málaga. Some 190,000 people will benefit from the help which ranges from improving streets to stimulating trade.
