SUMMER SALES BROUGHT FORWARD TO BEAT CREDIT CRUNCH

As consumers begin to feel the economic pinch and think twice or three times before spending on money on articles that were once considered a “must have”, like shoes, bags and clothes in general, the owners of small stores in Malaga city have decided to bring the summer sales forward. For the past month, they’ve been offering discounts of 30% on average on most articles. One store owner said: “We’re feeling the crisis and it’s one way of maintaining our sales figures as people don’t want to splash out because they don’t know what the future has in store for them.”
