Police who pursuing a motor cyclist they had observed in a dangerous manoeuvre were horrified to discover that it was a heavily pregnant 26-year-old woman taking her three children to school, back packs and all, on a small bike. From the back, the police had only seen one child, aged 9, but there were children in front. A 7-year-old was standing and hanging onto one handlebar while a 4-year-old, perched precariously on the tip of his mother’s seat, held onto the other. The police charged the women with dangerous driving and for not stopping when they told her to. Her excuse was that the children were late for school.
