Spanish-born crooner Julio Iglesias sold out the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles last week at the start of a new world tour. During the show, Iglesias told the audience that he really makes love to them and that he also kisses his backing singers. He said: “If I was gay I would be the best gay in all history.” He added: “Not long ago, I could make love in the dressing room, and then come out and sing, but I can’t do that anymore.” He also told the audience he had an “unhappy” relationship with Spain, where he is not as big a star as he is in the States. The tour will take him to New York, Croatia, Turkey and all of South America, and he will arrive in Spain on the European leg this summer. Dates have already been confirmed in Malaga, Marbella and Cádiz. Iglesias owns a home in Ojén.
