ILLEGAL ENTRIES DOWN

The number of illegal immigrants trying to enter Spain via Malaga’s coastline dropped drastically last year – only 189, down from 539 in 2006. However, the Andalucia Human Rights Association, which obtained the figures from the Junta de Andalucia, said this could change as vigilance increases along the longer, more dangerous West Africa-Canary Island routes.
