A gang that robbed five McDonald’s in Malaga province during two weekend visits were arrested in Madrid last Saturday. Police described the gang of eight – seven Spaniards and a Moroccan – as “very violent” and have charged them with crimes committed in Malaga, Madrid, Ibiza and Lugo, in Galicia. In addition to the five McDonald’s robberies, the gang also stole luxury cars from two car rental establishments in the capital. The police said the gang had robbed the McDonald’s restaurants in Malaga capital, Estepona and Calahonda during a visit on July 16th last year, when they also stole the cars. They came back on July 23rd and hit two more McDonald’s – one in Malaga capital and the other in Torremolinos.
